Snail therapy

Snail therapy is indicated for treating wrinkles, micro wounds of skin, scars, and stretch marks. It can be effective in the treatment of acne, warts, and pigmentation spots. The mucus of snails is perfectly suited to care for dry and cracked skin.

HIRUDO COSMETOLOGY

The great advantage of treating cosmetic skin defects with leeches is that this method has no age limitations, and anyone can use the services of the hirudotherapist-cosmetologist.

Hirudotherapy helps to smooth wrinkles, improve blood circulation, activate lymph drainage , and it stimulates the renewal of the cells of the epidermis. As a result of treatment with leeches, the complexion of the face is improved, the skin becomes smooth and elastic, age defects get smoothed.

Leeches successfully treat acne and pigmentation. This is due to the improvement of immunity and metabolism. It is worth saying that such processes take place slowly and gradually, so you have to be patient. Usually, this takes one and a half or two months of regular sessions (10-15, 2 times a week). But the result will surely reward all your expectations.

Treatment of acne with medical leeches is very effective. Already after several sessions of attaching leeches on the face, the rash significantly decreases, and after the whole course, it passes completely.

In the treatment of rosacea by method of hirudotherapy, it is necessary to take into account all disorders of the organism, leading to the emergence and development of rosacea (digestive tract disorder, endocrine disorders, liver function disorders, focal infection). Therefore, in addition to local attachment of leeches, general hirudotherapy is performed according to individual patient’s indications.

Hirudotherapy for couperosis is conducted locally, and with attachments in the area of liver. The method of correction by capillaropathy, the so-called capillary therapy, is used.

Maintenance hirudotherapy is recommended 1-2 times a year.

AUTOBLOOD MASKS AND APPLICATIONS (AFTER ATTACHMENT OF LEECHES)

In cosmetic practice, the autoblood collected in a syringe from the leech, which was attached on the patient, and which is the carrier of the bacterium symbiont (Aeromonashydrophila), is often used.
The method of treatment with autoblood from the attached leech combines all that is inherent in hemotherapy, as well as active nonspecific immune stimulation and the phenomenon of bacterial antagonism.

Autoblood is applied with a cotton swab or a bandage in a thin layer on the face and neck.It is left until the drying out, the appearance of the effect of squeezing the skin. After about 20 – 30 minutes, the mask is washed off with warm water. Applicants with autoblood can be applied to any part of the body for indications (hands, feet, stomach areas, back, and so on) in case of cellulitis, dermatitis, mycoses, varicose veins, and other problems.
